Marc Delucchi has been writing and performing poetry since middle school. He has turned his experience into workshops aimed at writers of all ages. In the last three years, he has designed curriculum for elementary, middle, high school, and college students with various exposure to spoken word poetry.
Marc believes spoken word poetry can be an avenue to reach students in nearly every subject. He has taught in English classrooms and has worked with theater and history instructors to use spoken word to improve public speaking and content comprehension skills as well. As part of his services, Marc offers professional development workshops aimed at teachers of all levels to use spoken word to refine teaching skills and offer creative activities to introduce into their repertoire. He has performed over 100 poems at venues across the country and competed at the 2018 Individual World Poetry Slam in San Diego. He has a one-hour set of material for feature performances. His experience as a performer, speaker, and instructor make him an ideal fit for institutions looking to entertain and educate students, faculty, and staff through a combination of workshop and performance.
